About Dave
Dave Herren is a Realtor® with Best Atlanta Properties. He has made his home in Grant Park since 1992 with his wife Colleen and cats Zoe and Ivan.
He loves the historic houses with big front porches, neighbors who know and look out for each other, and the “small town” vibe of one of Intown Atlanta’s largest neighborhoods.
A travel junkie, Dave had been all over the U.S. and around much of Europe. National Parks are his passion though, having visited Acadia, Zion, Denali, Yellow Stone, Yosemite, and more, he and his wife are just getting started.
After graduation from Cornell University with a Master of Landscape Architecture, Dave found traditional work in landscape design, and master planning, but discovered his analytical skill were better suited to the real estate development industry. Dave worked for architects, big box retail companies, and residential builders helping them decide whether to buy and develop property. His analytical approach to site investigation, zoning, permitting, and budgeting were invaluable in the corporate world, but left him yearning for a personal approach.
In 2011, friend and soon to be mentor, Jeff Payne suggested that Dave follow in his family tradition, earn his real estate license and become a Realtor® serving clients in the Intown Atlanta neighborhoods. He took that advice, and that decision has led to a successful career where Dave has merged his years of experience in real estate development with his passion for helping people.
Dave loves helping first time home buyers, and repeat home buyers, understand the home buying process and ensuring that their experience is fun, informative and rewarding.
